Firearms, Hotel, Event Notices

Convention & Traffic Expo attendees who wished to participate in the 2025 Sporting Clays Event in support of the ATSS Foundation were made aware of Florida laws, TSA policies, hotel restrictions, etc., regarding firearms. ATSSA was advised of firearms policies by multiple hotels participating in the Convention room block. These included but were not limited to:

  • Hyatt Regency – Firearms are permitted within the hotel and guest rooms provided they are unloaded, secured by a trigger lock and stored in a secured, locked case.
  • Rosen Plaza and Rosen Centre – Firearms are permitted in the hotel and guest rooms provided they are unloaded and secured in a locked case. Hotel management asks that guests not have housekeeping service in their room unless the guest is present.
  • Hilton – Hotel management does not allow firearms on the premises. Participants planning to travel with firearms should select another hotel within the ATSSA Convention block.

For any questions or concerns regarding firearms, hotel or event notices, please contact meetings@atssa.com.
