13th Annual Sporting Clays Event

Held in conjunction with ATSSA’s Annual Convention & Traffic Expo, this event has been very successful since starting in 2013, becoming the Foundation's second largest fundraiser.

The 2026 sporting clays event was held on Friday, Feb. 20, at American Shooting Centers (ASC), 16500 Westheimer Pkwy, Houston, Texas. Thank you to all shooters and sponsors for a fun and exciting event!

Registration and sponsorships for the 2026 event are closed. Shooters must be 18 years or older to participate. Games and Prizes were available during the event, including challenge coins, gift card drawings, pattern board and exciting new “Flurry” shooting challenge (40 targets under 1 minute).

Firearms, Hotel, Event Notices

Convention & Traffic Expo attendees who wished to participate in the 2026 Sporting Clays Event in support of the ATSS Foundation should be aware of Texas laws, TSA policies, hotel restrictions, etc., regarding firearms.

ATSSA was advised of firearms policies by the following hotels participating in the Convention room block: Hilton Americas, Marriott Marquis, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites. These hotel policies include but are not limited to:

  • Firearms must be unloaded at all times.
  • Firearms must be stored in a locked case at all times.
  • Ammunition must be kept in a separate locked case at all times.
  • Hilton Americas & Marriott Marquis: Firearms will not be permitted in restaurants and bar areas.
  • Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn & Homewood Suites: Hotel employees will not access any rooms where firearms are visible.
