Employees at RK&K donated more than $4,000 to the ATSS Foundation recently to support its efforts and work zone safety.
The RK&K safety team offered orange shirts and apparel in exchange for donations to the ATSS Foundation and 138 employees took part. They donned their new orange apparel to help draw attention to National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW), held April 21-25.
The Baltimore-based company’s effort enabled both office employees and people in the field to participate, generating $4,095.
“We are grateful for the generosity of the RK&K team and for the creative way to help them ‘Go Orange’ for work zone safety,” said Foundation Director Lori Diaz. “It is efforts like these that help us carry out our goal to increase awareness and support families affected by work zone tragedy.”
